Support from project planning to replenishment
Healthcare equipment procurement continues after the purchase order. Site readiness, delivery, commissioning, training and service records all affect how a system enters daily use. Routine supplies need a parallel plan for compatibility, stock cover and expiry. Use the service pages to build a clear scope for each engagement.
Before delivery
Identify the selected configuration, enabling works and departmental owners. Use tender and procurement support to align the specification and commercial schedule, then review installation and commissioning to define the site and handover requirements.
At handover
Reconcile the delivered equipment and accessories with the order. Retain the serial-number inventory, configuration, test records and open issues. Plan clinical and technical training by role and shift so the right users can attend.
During use
Connect biomedical service and maintenance to the asset register. Review AMC and CMC coverage against the written asset and parts schedule. For ongoing orders, use spare parts and consumables to identify exact references, purchasing units and replenishment assumptions.
A stronger service enquiry
Send the model or item list, site, quantities, required timing and the documents already available. For a fault, include the asset identifier and observed symptoms. For a project, include the room plan and the scope of work. For recurring supplies, include consumption, usable stock and pack sizes. These details help separate the technical requirement from the commercial offer.
